I saw this flash light at Home Depot and thought. Those LED's would fit in my holo projector! Below you can see what the LED's look like once removed and turned on. Very bright!

For right now I will be using my 12 Channel RF remote to turn these on and off. I'll probably get a 4 channel. Since I really need this one for my sound setup. But I digress. Right now my goal was to tinker with the remote and see what these LED's look like shining through the Holos. I like them a lot. Only thing is you can see 6 circles where ever the lights shines on. So I will be using a panel I got from A&A to diffuse the light. And eliminate the circles.
Here you can see how the LED assembly fits into the holo. The center spring is the positive and the four corners are negatives. I just soldered some wire to the ends and wired it up. I used the battery harness that came with the flashlight to power the LED in my test rig. I just soldered the wires to it. And I should say this was my first successful attempt at soldering! Now all I have left to do is figure out how to permanently attach the LED's inside the Holo.

I had it connected to channel 7, which is in latch mode. When I clicked on 7 the light will turn on. But it will only turn off when I click channels 8 through 12. Not sure why. The positive lead is on port A and the Negative is on port B on channel 7. Port C isn't used. This will be a temporary set up, until I learn to code my Arduino micro controller I've ordered. Once I figure that out, things should get very interesting!

You can see higher res images in my gallery: http://industrialautomaton.com/cmg/thumbnails.php?album=37

Here's a crappy video I shot. Sorry for the poor quality. My camera is dieing.

Today I got the parts I sent to be powder coated back. They look awesome! The parts I got powder coated were: JAG's Feet, Ankles and Skirt. And Ryan's Legs.

In a few weeks I'll be sending out some other parts once I receive them. You can see more photos in the Gallery: http://industrialautomaton.com/cmg/index.php?cat=5
